Function: Solar O&M | Experience: 10+ Years | Plant Size: 70 MW+ | Location: Site-based
Responsible for safe, reliable and efficient operation & maintenance of the Solar Power Plant. The role will maximize energy generation and plant availability while minimizing downtime, operational losses and maintenance costs. The position will lead site operations, manage contractors and OEMs, coordinate with MPEB/State Electricity Board and SLDC, and resolve technical, local, ROW and security-related issues.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Ground-Mounted Solar O&M.
Should have independently handled a 70 MW or larger solar plant.
Mandatory experience in Solar Tracker systems.
Hands-on experience with Sungrow Inverters.
Strong knowledge of SCADA, plant performance, PLF, availability and loss analysis.
Experience in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
Experience coordinating with MPEB/State Electricity Board, SLDC, OEMs and vendors.
Ability to independently handle local issues, ROW and theft-related matters.
Strong contractor, manpower and stakeholder management skills.
Personal car ownership required/preferred for site movement.
Stable career history with no frequent job changes.
Ensure smooth and reliable plant operation and achieve generation targets.
Monitor PLF, plant availability, losses and SCADA performance.
Analyze performance deviations and implement corrective actions.
Monitor inverters, trackers, transformers, switchgear and other critical equipment.
Ensure maximum generation and minimum downtime.
Plan and monitor preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
Ensure timely restoration of failed equipment.
Coordinate with OEMs for technical support and major breakdowns.
Monitor maintenance of Sungrow inverters, trackers and electrical/BOP systems.
Ensure critical spares, tools and consumables are available.
Maintain maintenance records, logbooks and equipment history.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and electrical safety procedures.
Conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks and risk assessments.
Ensure corrective actions are completed within timelines.
Maintain HSE and statutory compliance records.
Lead site O&M teams and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
Manage contractors and vendors and ensure SLA, quality and safety compliance.
Identify training requirements and improve team capability.
Coordinate with MPEB/State Electricity Board, SLDC, OEMs, customers and vendors.
Resolve site-specific technical and operational issues.
Handle local community issues, ROW matters and theft/security concerns.
Coordinate with HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal and HSE teams.
Maintain effective relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.

Strong local issue-handling and stakeholder management skills are essential.
