Job Description:
handles receiving, storing, and dispatching stationery products, performs inventory checks, maintains a clean and organized warehouse, picks and packs orders, and assists with logistics to ensure a smooth supply chain for the store
Responsibilities
Receiving & Storing Goods: Unload incoming shipments, inspect products for damage, and store items in their designated locations within the warehouse.
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or losses.
Order Picking & Packing:
Retrieve items from storage to fill customer or store orders, then carefully pack them for shipment or pickup.
Warehouse Organization:
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse, arranging products and optimizing storage space.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or other material handling machinery as needed.
Order Processing:
Process paperwork related to shipments and inventory, including data entry of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
Stock Rotation:
Manage stock rotation procedures to ensure older items are used before newer ones, preventing spoilage or obsolescence.
Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational skills are necessary for managing inventory and maintaining an organized workspace.
Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail is crucial for accurate inventory tracking and correct order fulfillment.
Computer Literacy:
Basic computer skills are required, including proficiency with spreadsheets and potentially barcode scanning systems. .
