Job Description Operation Associate (Backfill Position) Position Title Operation Associate Underwriting Operations Support Location Pune, India Department Business Services Group (BSG) Underwriting Operations Reports To Supervisor / Team Lead Underwriting Operations Position Summary The Operation Associate supports U.S. Commercial LinesUnderwriting Operations by processing New Business, Renewals, Endorsements, andPremium Finance transactions. The role requires strong attention to detail,adherence to established procedures, and collaboration with Underwriters andstakeholders to ensure timely and accurate policy processing. Key Responsibilities ProcessNew Business, Renewal, Endorsement, and Premium Finance transactions. Reviewand validate submission data for accuracy and completeness. SupportUnderwriters with policy processing and servicing activities. Meetestablished turnaround times and SLA requirements. Followquality standards, procedures, and checklists. Performquality reviews before task completion. Partnerwith U.S. stakeholders to resolve operational queries. Participatein cross-training and knowledge-sharing activities. Supportprocess improvement and automation initiatives. Achieveproductivity, quality, and compliance targets. Requirements Education Bachelor'sdegree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field. Experience 13years of experience in Insurance Operations, Underwriting Support, orBack-office Operations. CommercialInsurance experience preferred. Skills Proficiencyin MS Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office. Stronganalytical and data validation skills. Effectivecommunication and stakeholder management abilities. Strongattention to detail and time-management skills. Preferred Qualifications CommercialProperty & Casualty Insurance experience. Understandingof policy lifecycle activities. Exposureto process improvement or automation initiatives. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Qualityand accuracy scores. SLAadherence. Trainingand certification completion. Processcompliance and audit readiness. Working Hours Flexibleto support U.S. business hours. Participationin business meetings and training sessions as required. Position Justification This backfill position is required to maintain operationalcontinuity and support business requirements across New Business, Renewals,Endorsements, and Premium Finance functions while ensuring adherence toquality, productivity, and SLA commitments.
