Overview
As a Hospital Operations & HR Management professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient functioning of the hospital operations while managing human resources effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing hospital operational plans in alignment with organizational goals
- Conducting monthly performance review meetings to monitor departmental targets
- Ensuring quality standards, patient satisfaction (>95%), and efficient service delivery
- Analyzing operational performance, controlling costs, and improving profitability
- Coordinating with marketing for business growth and corporate relations
In terms of Manpower Planning & Recruitment, you will be required to:
- Plan and manage manpower based on bed occupancy (1:5 ratio)
- Preparing manpower budgets and optimizing employee costs
- Executing structured recruitment strategies for clinical & non-clinical staff
- Ensuring proper selection processes, salary fitment, and verification
For Employee Lifecycle Management, your duties will involve:
- Handling internal sourcing, transfers, confirmations, and onboarding
- Conducting performance appraisals, promotions, and career development initiatives
- Identifying training needs and implementing development programs
In the area of Employee Engagement & Retention, you will focus on:
- Maintaining employee morale and conducting satisfaction surveys (ESS)
- Implementing rewards & recognition programs
- Analyzing attrition trends and implementing retention strategies
- Addressing grievances and ensuring positive employee relations
You will also be responsible for HR Operations & Compliance by:
- Ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and timely submissions
- Maintaining employee records, payroll inputs, and HR MIS reports
- Supporting audits, inspections, and licensing requirements
Additionally, your role will involve Discipline & Communication tasks such as:
- Maintaining discipline, grooming standards, and workplace policies
- Promoting effective communication through meetings and feedback systems
Furthermore, you will oversee Welfare & Safety procedures by:
- Managing employee welfare programs, insurance, and benefits
- Ensuring compliance with safety norms for patients and staff
- Supporting hospital events and employee well-being initiatives
Your responsibilities will also include Budgeting & Reporting tasks like:
- Preparing annual budgets and monitoring variances
- Submitting monthly reports and supporting data-driven decision-making
Lastly, you will focus on Patient & Service Excellence by:
- Enhancing patient experience through feedback and service improvements
- Addressing complaints and ensuring personalized patient care
