Overview
As an Internal Auditor at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Audit in managing the GFC Audit portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of assigned areas during audit engagements and effectively managing stakeholders internally and externally.
- Assisting in planning engagements by identifying key risk areas and producing quality Audit Planning Documentation.
- Demonstrating accountability by delivering assigned audit work on time and in line with departmental KPIs.
- Evaluating Financial Crime risks, devising testing strategies for key controls, and documenting audit work in accordance with Internal Audit methodology.
- Escalating identified issues to senior management and collaborating with stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Incorporating regulatory requirements and financial market trends into continuous monitoring activities for agreed audit entities.
- Maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth and professional audit planning and delivery.
- Following up on Internal Audit issues to ensure satisfactory closure of Management Action Plans and testing remediated controls.
- Assisting in preparing management information and third-party submissions and collaborating with internal audit colleagues regionally and globally.
Additionally, you may be involved in Internal Audit's strategic initiatives, such as participating in working groups to support departmental improvement initiatives.
