Working Hours:9:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Education: Degree qualified in Engineering 

MBA / PGDM in Operations, Project Management, or Business Management (Preferred)

Experience: 20 to 30 years of experience in industrial construction projects.

Minimum 10 years in a leadership role managing large-scale construction projects.

Proven experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience in industrial, manufacturing, automotive, FMCG, warehouse, pharmaceutical, or engineering facility projects.

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented General Manager (Projects & Operations) to lead and oversee multiple industrial construction projects across India. The role will be responsible for project execution, operational excellence, profitability, client satisfaction, resource management, and business growth. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in industrial construction projects such as manufacturing plants, factories, warehouses, FMCG, automotive, engineering, and pharmaceutical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple industrial construction projects.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Drive operational excellence and improve project productivity across all project sites.

Monitor project schedules, cost control, resource utilization, and overall project performance.

Review and manage project budgets, cash flows, profitability, and commercial performance.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.

Participate in project reviews, client meetings, contract negotiations, and strategic decision-making.

Oversee contract administration, change orders, claims management, and risk mitigation activities.

Ensure effective deployment of manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and construction resources.

Lead project planning and controls functions, including scheduling and progress monitoring.

Drive implementation of Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and Quality Management Systems.

Provide leadership and guidance to Project Directors, Project Managers, and functional teams.

Develop succession plans and mentor high-potential employees within the organization.

Identify opportunities for business growth, repeat business, and operational improvements.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, contractual obligations, and company policies.

Prepare and present business and project performance reports to senior management.

Support tender reviews, project feasibility assessments, and business development initiatives.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and organizational performance.
