Role Description The P&L; Head at Urban Money will be responsible for owning and driving the profit and loss performance of the Bhopal business unit. This full-time, in office role involves setting financial and growth targets, monitoring revenue and cost drivers, and ensuring sustainable profitability. The P&L; Head will lead cross-functional teams, oversee branch operations, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The role includes developing and executing business strategies, managing key stakeholder relationships with financial institutions, tracking performance metrics, and implementing corrective actions where required. The P&L; Head will also contribute to market expansion initiatives, improve customer experience, and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership. Qualifications - Strong financial management skills, including P&L; ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization. - Experience in retail lending, mortgages, or broader financial services, with a solid understanding of loan products and distribution models. - Proven leadership and people management capabilities, including leading cross-functional teams and driving performance. - Strategic planning and business development skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and execute operational plans. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort working with data, KPIs, and performance dashboards. - Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with internal teams and partner financial institutions. - Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the Indian financial services sector. - Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred. - Prior experience in a senior role with P&L; responsibility, ideally within banking, NBFCs, or loan advisory/distribution firms.
