Why This Role Matters
The Global Merchant & Network Services (GM&NS) Revenue Management team drives the single largest source of revenue for arenaflex: merchant discount revenue. This team works closely with crossfunctional partners to set optimal pricing, enhance merchant satisfaction, and fuel growth across the organization. As a PartTime Remote Data Entry Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Canadafocused Merchant Rebate Revenue function, ensuring accurate data capture, insightful analysis, and seamless collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Produce monthly Canadawide merchant rebate revenue reports, tracking actual performance against forecast and identifying key drivers of variance.
Develop and maintain merchant rebate revenue scorecards for the Canada region, providing clear visualizations for senior leadership.
Drive data standardization and communication improvements across multiple pricing teams to ensure consistency in reporting and analysis.
Support external audits by investigating identified issues, coordinating with regional pricing teams, and managing remediation actions.
Conduct adhoc data analyses to assess rebate rate trends, uncover actionable insights, and recommend process enhancements.
Maintain highquality data entry standards in Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial datasets.
Collaborate with finance, analytics, and merchant services partners to translate raw data into strategic recommendations.
Assist in the development of complex financial models that support revenue forecasting and scenario planning.
Essential Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services, payments industry, or related finance roles.
Education: Bachelors degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) is mandatory.
Analytical Ability: Demonstrated capability to build complex financial models and extract valueadded insights from large data sets.
Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with SAS, SQL, or similar dataquery languages is required.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage competing priorities.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and meticulousness in data entry and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of merchant discounting concepts and rebate structures within the payments ecosystem.
Exposure to regulatory compliance requirements in the Canadian financial sector.
Project management experience, including the ability to lead initiatives from concept through execution.
Fluency in French is a plus, given the bilingual nature of many Canadian markets.
