Role Description The Payment Collector is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, India. This role is responsible for contacting customers to follow up on outstanding payments, explaining account details, and ensuring timely collection of dues. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate records of collections, updating payment statuses in the system, and coordinating with finance or accounting teams to reconcile balances. The Payment Collector will also handle basic customer queries related to payments, provide polite and clear communication, and adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role requires consistent field work, depending on business needs, and will involve visiting customers to facilitate digital collections.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Debt Collection and Cash Collection skills, with the ability to manage outstanding accounts responsibly.Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, including the ability to speak with customers professionally and resolve payment-related concerns.Candidates should possess solid Computer Literacy, including the ability to use basic office software and update collection records accurately.Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to understand invoices, payment terms, and account reconciliation.Attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy in handling payments and records.Ability to work on-site in Andhra Pradesh, India, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in collections, banking, retail, or related fields is an advantage.Minimum educational qualification: higher secondary or diploma; a degree in commerce, business, or a related field is preferred. .
