01Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management (India):
Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees in India, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Validate salary inputs, incentive/bonus calculations, and ensure accurate taxation (TDS, PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, LWF).
Address employee payroll-related queries in coordination with HR.
Global Payroll Support:
Collaborate with external vendors/partners to support payroll processing in international geographies.
Ensure adherence to local compliance requirements in current markets as the company scales operations overseas.
Vendor & Process Management:
Manage relationships with payroll vendors, auditors, and compliance partners.
Negotiate contracts, monitor SLAs, and ensure service quality.
Oversee vendor processing and validation of invoices/payments.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure full compliance with Indian labor laws, income tax, and other statutory regulations.
Stay updated with changes in payroll legislation in India and key overseas markets.
Prepare and submit statutory returns and payroll-related MIS to management.
Audit & Governance:
Lead payroll audits (internal, statutory, and external).
Implement robust governance and controls to minimize errors and risks.
System & Process Improvements:
Identify opportunities for payroll automation and digitalization.
Support integration of payroll systems with HRIS/ERP for efficiency. .
