Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated PGT Computer Science / Informatics Practices Teacher to join our school. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science and Informatics Practices to senior secondary students, developing students programming and problem-solving skills, and creating an engaging technology-focused learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science and Informatics Practices to senior secondary classes.
- Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans according to the school curriculum.
- Teach concepts such as Python, SQL, Computer Networks, Data Handling, Database Management, and Programming as applicable to the curriculum.
- Conduct practical/lab sessions and guide students in programming and computer-based activities.
- Develop assignments, worksheets, projects, quizzes, and assessments.
- Evaluate students academic performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage logical thinking, computational skills, creativity, and problem-solving.
- Maintain proper records of students academic progress.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom learning.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, events, and other academic responsibilities.
Eligibility
- Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from a recognized university/institution.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science / Informatics Practices concepts.
- Good programming knowledge, preferably Python and SQL.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with prior school teaching experience will be an added advantage.
