JOB DESCRIPTION PHARAMCY PURCHASE - MANAGER/ SR EXECUTIVE
Manage and supervise end-to-end pharmacy procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective, quality-compliant, and uninterrupted supply of pharmacy items.
Key Responsibilities
Manage ROL preparation, approvals, and PO processing.
Supervise pharmacy purchases and vendor coordination.
Negotiate rates, discounts, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
Ensure timely follow-up and fulfilment of pharmacy requirements.
Coordinate with Pharmacy, Daycare, user departments, CPD, Finance, and Stores.
Process out-of-formulary requirements as per approval and CPD SOPs.
Manage near-expiry/non-moving stock, vendor returns, replacements, and credit notes.
Monitor GRIR, invoices, payments, and pending purchase issues.
Track stock-outs, delayed supplies, pending POs, and vendor performance.
Conduct supplier evaluation and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and CPD SOPs.
Escalate critical procurement issues to Senior Management.
Every month Pharmacy Purchase reports and submit HOD for analysis.
Preferred candidate profile : Male Candidate .
