A Pharma Purchase Executive manages the procurement of medicines, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), raw materials, or medical supplies while ensuring cost-effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and optimal inventory levels

- Vendor Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for pharmaceutical products, APIs, chemicals, or packaging materials. [1, 2, 3]
- Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate competitive pricing, trade schemes, credit periods, and delivery terms with vendors to reduce overall procurement costs
- Purchase Orders (POs): Generate, track, and process accurate purchase orders in line with requisition requests and company policies. [1, 2]
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking, and track near-expiry or excess stock with suppliers. [1, 2]
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with the pharmacy, production, R&D, or warehouse teams to verify material specifications, usage trends, and delivery timelines. [1, 2, 3]
