About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join their safety surveillance team in Chandigarh . This role is essential for ensuring the safety and efficacy of our pharmaceutical products by monitoring, collecting, and assessing adverse event reports. You will play a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance and safeguarding public health. Working within a dedicated team at our central office, you will contribute to robust safety reporting systems and collaborate with regulatory affairs and medical teams to uphold the highest standards of drug safety management.
Key Responsibilities Collect, assess, and document adverse event reports from various sources, including healthcare professionals, patients, and literature. Ensure timely and accurate submission of safety reports to regulatory authorities worldwide. Conduct literature reviews to identify potential safety signals and emerging risks. Collaborate with medical and regulatory affairs departments to develop safety statements and risk management plans. Participate in internal and external audits related to pharmacovigilance activities. Maintain and update the adverse event database with all relevant information. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related healthcare field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety. Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements for pharmacovigilance (e.g., FDA, EMA, CIOMS). Experience with safety databases and adverse event reporting systems.
