Role Summary
The Business Loan Unsecured Policy Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and governing policies for unsecured business lending products. The role ensures the unsecured lending portfolio adheres to the institutions risk appetite, complies with regulatory requirements, and supports sustainable portfolio growth. The position requires strong expertise in unsecured lending, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and credit policy formulation.

Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement the unsecured lending risk framework, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory expectations.
Conduct portfolio reviews, risk assessments, and stress tests to identify vulnerabilities and recommend strategic actions
Portfolio Risk Metrics Stability Maintain delinquency, chargeoff, and fraud rates within approved risk appetite thresholds.
Timeliness of Risk Reviews Complete portfolio reviews, risk assessments, and stresstesting cycles as per defined frequency (monthly/quarterly).
Strategic Policy Alignment % of policies aligned with revised regulatory or business strategy updates within defined SLAs.
Policies, Processes & Procedures
Create, review, and maintain policies for unsecured lending products in line with RBI, KYC/AML, and digital lending norms.
Establish processes for policy exceptions, approvals, documentation, and compliance tracking.
Job Specific
Develop and refine credit scoring models, underwriting standards, and exposure controls for unsecured business loans.
Monitor KRIs (delinquency, chargeoff, fraud) and initiate mitigation actions.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure policy adherence and accurate portfolio management.
Act as key contact for regulatory and audit interactions on unsecured lending policies.

Drive team performance through effective leadership, coaching, and people development
