Position DescriptionWe are seeking a Power BI Developer with 35 years of handson experience in designing and developing BI solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and support datadriven decisionmaking across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI .Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.Create and optimize DAX queries and measures to ensure performance and accuracy.Develop data models and design star/snowflake schemas to support reporting needs.Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.) and integrate them into Power BI.Implement rowlevel security (RLS) and manage report access for different user roles.Schedule and automate data refreshes and ensure report availability and accuracy.Monitor report usage and performance, and make recommendations for improvements.Document dashboards, data models, and development processes for future reference.Required Skills And Qualifications35 years of experience working with Power BI in a business intelligence or data analytics role.Proficient in writing DAX expressions and creating complex calculated columns and measures.Strong knowledge of Power Query (M language) for data transformation.Experience building and optimizing data models for performance and scalability.Solid understanding of SQL and experience querying relational databases.Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX principles.Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Knowledge of Power BI Service , including workspaces, app deployment, and gateway management.Exposure to cloud data platforms like Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, or AWS Redshift.Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory) is a plus.Microsoft certification (e.g., PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate ) is a plus.Professional SkillsSolid written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsStrong team and individual playerMaintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by natureHigh standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality resultsSelfsufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or interventionDemonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issuesBridgenext is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
