Job Description: We are having opening for Power BI SQL Developer - Retail Analytics. Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Power BI SQL Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and SQL and hands-on experience in Retail Analytics. The candidate will be responsible for developing business intelligence solutions, interactive dashboards, reports, and analytical models to support data-driven business decisions. Note : Retail Analytics experience is mandatory for this role. Working Days : Mon - Friday Job Timing : Dayshift Position / Designation : Power BI SQL Developer Qualification : Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field Years of Experience : 5 - 9 Years Permanent / Contract : Permanent Full Time Office / Remote / Hybrid : Hybrid - Bangalore - bellandur, Chennai - Taramani Number of posts : 1 Gender : Male / Female Selection Process : Total 3 Technical rounds (2 rounds evaluation with LV & 1 with client) Job Role & Responsibility :Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and analytical calculations.Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.Develop efficient data models and establish relationships between multiple data sources.Transform and prepare data for reporting and visualization.Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.Analyze retail business data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.Optimize Power BI reports, datasets, and queries for better performance.Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data and reports.Participate in requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of BI solutions. Skills : 5 - 9 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics.Retail Analytics experience is mandatory.Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and SQL.Strong expertise in DAX.Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.Hands-on experience with Retail Analytics / Retail domain.Good understanding of data modeling and BI reporting.Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good to Have : Experience with Power BI Service and workspace management.Knowledge of Power BI performance optimization.Experience with ETL / data transformation processes.Understanding of retail KPIs such as sales, revenue, inventory, margins, customers, and product performance.Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
