Presales Consultant NOC / SOC / Managed IT Services

Job Summary We are looking for a technically sound and customer-focused Presales Consultant with 14 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, NOC, SOC, or managed services. The candidate will support the sales team in understanding customer requirements, preparing solutions and proposals, and participating in technical discussions. Key Responsibilities Understand customer requirements related to NOC, SOC, Networking, Cybersecurity, Cloud & Managed IT Services.Assist in designing and proposing suitable technical solutions.Prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, SOWs, SLAs, presentations, and solution documents.Support preparation of solution architecture, scope, manpower requirements, and pricing inputs.Participate in customer meetings, technical presentations, demos, and solution discussions.Work closely with Sales and Delivery teams throughout the sales cycle.Support technical objection handling and customer queries.Assist with technical handover to the delivery team after project closure.Required Technical Knowledge Networking: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing & Switching, VPN, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP.Basic understanding of SOC, SIEM, EDR/XDR, Security Monitoring and Incident Response.Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure and Microsoft 365.Understanding of Windows/Linux, Active Directory, Backup and IT Infrastructure.Exposure to tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Wazuh, Fortinet, Palo Alto or CrowdStrike will be an advantage.Required Skills Good communication and presentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Good documentation and proposal-writing skills.Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into solutions.Willingness to learn new technologies and managed-service solutions.Ability to work closely with Sales, Technical and Delivery teams.Preferred Background Candidates with experience in NOC/SOC, MSP/MSSP, System Integrators, IT Infrastructure, Networking, Cybersecurity or Managed Services will be preferred. Certifications: CCNA, Security+, Azure/AWS, Fortinet, Palo Alto or ITIL certifications will be an advantage. Compensation: 25,000.00 - 30,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
