01Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare competitive quotations for Air Freight, Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), and Surface Transportation.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, NVOCCs, and overseas agents to obtain competitive freight rates.
- Negotiate freight rates with vendors while maintaining company profitability.
- Maintain and update freight rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing databases.
- Support the Sales Team by providing spot quotations, RFQs, tenders, and customer-specific pricing.
- Analyze market trends, freight rate fluctuations, and competitor pricing.
- Ensure timely responses to customer pricing requests within defined turnaround time (TAT).
- Coordinate with Operations Team to ensure feasibility of quoted services.
- Maintain complete documentation of quotations and pricing records.
- Build strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and overseas partners.
- Ensure pricing complies with company policies, customer requirements, and agreed profit margins.
- Assist in customer rate contracts, annual bids, and pricing negotiations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Air Export/Import and Ocean Export/Import (FCL/LCL) pricing.
- Good understanding of Incoterms and international freight documentation.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Robust analytical and commercial acumen.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and ERP/Logistics software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 25 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Logistics Pricing.
- Hands-on experience in Air Freight and Ocean Freight pricing is mandatory.
- Experience in handling RFQs, spot quotations, and vendor negotiations is preferred.
Compensation: 12,616.90 - 60,000.00 per month
