Job Responsibilities
Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworksDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersArchitects and implements cloud-native platforms and infrastructure solutions at enterprise scaleAdvises cross-functional teams on technological matters within domain of expertisArchitects and governs agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows (using enterprise-authorized tools within the work environment) to improve delivery speed, code quality, and operational outcomes at scale (e.g., AI-driven PR review assistance, test generation/maintenance, release readiness checks, incident triage and root-cause acceleration), while defining guardrails for validation, security, resiliency, and reuse across teamsApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation at scale.Serves as the function's go-to subject matter expertContributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologiesCreates durable, reusable software frameworks that are leveraged across teams and functionsInfluences leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teamsChampions the firm's culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related technical field with 15+ years of applied experienceHands-on, current programming experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExpert-level proficiency in Go Lang and/or Java with demonstrated ability to write production-grade codeDeep understanding of cloud infrastructure, with extensive hands-on experience in AWS. Proven track record of architecting and building cloud platforms from the ground up, including design, implementation, and production deploymentDemonstrated experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices (using enterprise-authorized tools within the work environment) across teams, including setting standards for human-in-the-loop validation, auditability/traceability of changes, and secure handling of sensitive data.Strong understanding of responsible AI use and control expectations in engineering workflows, including security/resiliency implications, data sensitivity, and risk-based governance; ability to influence senior technical leaders on safe scaling patterns and reuse.Advanced knowledge of software application development and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in cloud technologies, distributed systems, and platform engineeringExperience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex technology problems in cloud architecture and infrastructureExperience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager. Ability to present and effectively communicate with Senior Leaders and ExecutivesUnderstanding of the business and how technology enables business outcomesPractical cloud-native experience with microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines .
