Job Description

Key Responsibilities

** - Managing annual/continual financial planning activities for product areas - Providing business rationale and decisions for all month-end financial performance and forecasting - Conducting reviews and analysis on product financial performance, consumption/demand planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reports - Conducting efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategy including location strategy, span of control, reporting, and analytics - Creating financial business cases supporting business initiatives and monitoring key metrics - Driving data quality initiatives across the product area and defining future needs - Developing and tracking performance metrics, creating presentations, and providing financial analysis to senior management - Performing variance analysis and presenting commentary to senior managers - Designing new reports and dashboards for efficient delivery of financial results - Enhancing controls, streamlining processes, and introducing automation where possible **

Qualifications Required

** - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a subject of a technical nature - 3 years of work experience in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background - Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint - Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets - Proven track record for executing special projects with little lead time - Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent with the ability to challenge peers - Highly motivated, able to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines - Good team player and respected partner for Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for partnering across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. Your main tasks will include financial control, forecasting, budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities, and advising the line of business CFOs on increasing profitability and efficiencies. You will analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data, while also devising ways to streamline and minimize cycle times through automation and process improvement. Additionally, you will assist in developing recommendations affecting business procedures and operations, maintaining financial and reporting systems, and supporting special projects or components of other projects. **
