Job Description The Process and Compliance Lead for Current Accounts will lead the compliance and operational risk framework for IndusInd Bank's Current Account (CA) portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to RBI regulations, internal policies, and governance standards, while enabling sustainable business growth.

n Regulatory Compliance & Risk Oversight
n n Drive end-to-end compliance for Current Account products in line with RBI guidelines, internal policies, and industry best practices
n Monitor and assess operational risks across sourcing, onboarding, servicing, and transactions within the liabilities portfolio
n Ensure timely interpretation and implementation of regulatory updates (RBI circulars, KYC/AML norms, etc)
n Act as the key interface with Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit, and regulatory authorities during audits and reviews
n n Governance & Control Framework
n n Design and strengthen the risk and compliance framework for retail liabilities, aligned with IndusInd Bank's risk philosophy
n Establish robust controls across key processes including account opening, transaction monitoring, and customer lifecycle management
n Drive consistency and standardization of compliance practices across branches, channels, and digital journeys
n Ensure strong documentation, audit readiness, and closure of audit findings within timelines
n n Business Partnership & Risk Advisory
n n Partner closely with Retail Liabilities business, Operations, and Digital teams to provide proactive risk advisory
n Enable business growth by embedding compliant product design and process frameworks
n Evaluate new product initiatives and process changes through a risk and compliance lens
n n Culture, Training & Awareness
n n Champion a strong culture of compliance, ethics, and accountability across frontline and support teams
n Drive training and awareness initiatives on regulatory requirements, KYC/AML, and operational risk management
n Promote first-line ownership of risk and compliance within the business
n n Operational Integrity & Continuous Improvement
n n Strengthen controls to minimize operational risk incidents such as frauds, process lapses, and breaches
n Track key risk indicators (KRIs) and compliance metrics; drive corrective actions and improvements
n Lead automation and digitization initiatives to enhance control effectiveness and reduce manual risk
n n EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
n MBA / PGDM (Tier 1 / Tier 2 preferred)
n 1012 years of experience in regulatory compliance, operational risk, or audit within retail banking
n Strong understanding of RBI regulations, KYC/AML norms, and Current Account product lifecycle
n Proven experience in managing compliance in a branch-led and digital banking environment
n Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with strong stakeholder influence
n Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities .
