Job Title: Process Digitalization & IT manager

This position is for new factory expansion / Greenfield Transformer factory project - (Site/location to be finalized)
About the Role The global energy transition is driving a rapidly increasing demand for high voltage equipment. Digitalization and automation play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing effort, and increasing factory output.
As part of international projects for new factory construction and capacity expansion in the field of high voltage products, we are looking for an experienced Expert Process Digitalization and Implementation for our new manufacturing facility in India. The role is embedded in a technically demanding, globally operating environment and requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures.
In this position, you will be responsible for defining and executing digitalization and IT implementations for the newly to build facility.
Your Responsibilities Digitalization & Automation
Drive the digitalization and automation of the manufacturing processes
Develop and manage the budget for digitalization activities
Define technical specifications for automated manufacturing equipment based on the Digital catalog
Support procurement activities, including participation in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at supplier sites
Prepare and support the installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment
Ensure technical alignment between equipment OEMs and robot OEMs
IT Landscape & Systems
Define requirements for the implementation of the standard IT landscape
Set up and implement digital workflow processes
Define IT hardware requirements and coordinate with Real Estate partners
Follow up on IT hardware installation in cooperation with Siemens Energy Real Estate
Work in close collaboration with the Digital Core Team and other internal functions
Project Management
Ensure compliance with budget, schedule, and quality requirements
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and initiate appropriate countermeasures
Prepare documentation and reports for project management and relevant stakeholders
What You Bring
Completed degree in engineering and/or IT , preferably with a focus on automation in engineer to order environments
Solid IT knowledge SAP / Power BI / Tableau and experience with large software implementation projects
More than 10-12 years experience in the field of digitalization of manufacturing processes
Strong collaboration skills and experience working in international and intercultural teams
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for close cooperation with internal and external partners (machine suppliers, construction partners, project managers, international teams)
Analytical mindset, structured working style, and high level of initiative
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Note: Applicants should be willing to relocate to any part of India as per business requirements.
This role is based for Greenfield factory Setup, where you'll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries - and the shape of things to come. .
