01Responsibilities

1. Proactively identify problems and improvement opportunities across the company.
2. Identify further improvement areas by conducting meetings with department heads.
3. Categorize identified areas into productivity, safety, ergonomics and general improvements.
4. Prioritize improvement areas for implementation based on impact and feasibility.
5. Develop and finalize improvement concepts through meetings with relevant stakeholders.
6. Design concepts using 3D modelling software and prepare the associated manufacturing drawings.
7. Write the manufacturing procedure for each finalized concept.
8. Work with the EBC and department heads to identify suitable vendors and finalize the budget.
9. Obtain budget approval from management.
10. Coordinate with vendors and department heads to manufacture the concept.
11. Implement the concept, conduct trials, validate results and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
12. After a successful trial, prepare the SOP for the use and maintenance of the concept.
13. Assist department heads in training the personnel who will operate the concept.
14. Monitor results, collect feedback and make further improvements to the concept as required.
15. Conduct periodic shop-floor audits to verify the usage, condition and effectiveness of implemented concepts.
16. Support the maintenance department in the repair and upkeep of implemented concepts.
* Deliverables: -
1. Documented list of prioritized improvement areas, categorized by type, updated monthly.
2. 3D models, manufacturing drawings and manufacturing procedures for each approved concept.
3. Implementation of approved improvement concepts within the agreed plan and budget.
4. SOPs prepared and manpower trained for every implemented concept.
5. Periodic shop-floor audit reports covering usage, condition and efficacy of concepts.
6. Minimum 1 improvement concept implemented per month.
