The Process Specialist implements the end-to-end accounts payable or accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate, efficient and compliant billing or invoicing, financial transactions and cash flow managementWith limited supervision, this job maintains financial records, analyzes billing data, generates invoices or verifies and processes invoicesThis job works closely with internal cross functional teams to improve billing or invoicing operations and delivers excellent customer service externallyKey Accountabilities
INVOICING: Implements the end to end invoicing process, including the control of accurate and timely generation or verification of invoices and supporting documentationBILLING ANALYSIS: Analyzes billing data to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for process improvementsDISCREPANCY RESOLUTION: Investigates and resolves moderately complex billing or invoicing discrepancies by analyzing billing or invoicing data, communicating with internal cross functional teams and external customers or suppliers, and making necessary correctionsDOCUMENTATION: Maintains accuracy and completeness of billing or invoicing records by conducting regular audits and reconciliationsRECORDS MAINTENANCE: Maintains financial records related to accounts payable or accounts receivable processes, assuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirementsCOLLABORATION: Collaborates with cross functional teams to verify billing or invoicing information and ensure timely and accurate processing of customer or supplier paymentsREPORT GENERATION: Prepares and distributes financial reports related to accounts payable or accounts receivable to support informed decision making on billing or invoicing mattersCONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Implements policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable or accounts receivable processesINDUSTRY EXPERTISE: Stays abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging best in class industry standards in accounts payable or accounts receivable processes, proposing necessary updates and improvementsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience7 to 8 years of experienceExperience with email, spreadsheet and word processing applications .
