01Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source high-quality fruits, vegetables, and organic products.
- Maintain relationships with farmers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Conduct field visits to farms, mandis, and suppliers as per company requirement.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all incoming produce.
- Coordinate logistics and timely delivery of produce.
- Provide insights on pricing trends, seasonal availability, and product quality.
- Manage basic inventory records and documentation.
- Support sales team with product knowledge, pricing, and market updates.
02Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in fruits/vegetables procurement.
- Solid knowledge of organic produce and seasonal fruits/vegetables.
- Willingness to travel frequently within and outside Delhi-NCR.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Google Maps etc.) Preferably from a supply chain, agri-business, or food background. .
