About the Role
Our client seeks a results-driven Procurement Manager to lead their purchasing department based in Chandigarh, Chandigarh . This critical role involves developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. You will be responsible for leading a team and driving operational excellence within the supply chain function, contributing directly to the company's profitability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and budget constraints. Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists, fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with key suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing. Conduct regular market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure seamless supply. Monitor and report on key procurement metrics, including spend, savings, and supplier performance. Requirements Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Over 7 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale procurement projects and negotiating complex agreements. Experience with procurement software and advanced data analytics.
