About the roleWe are seeking a Procurement Officer to join our Global Procurement team in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing endtoend procurement activities for pharmaceutical finished formulation manufacturing while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Key responsibilitiesExecute procurement activities in line with organizational policies, SOPs, and procedures.Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, and other internal teams to ensure seamless procurement operations.Issue RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, and manage procurement documentation.Prepare purchase orders through the ERP system and monitor order execution.Maintain vendor and pricing databases and support procurement budgeting.Conduct supplier evaluations and onsite audits for Indian suppliers.Assist with product identification, supplier coordination, and procurement process improvements.Support the Procurement Manager in training and mentoring the procurement team.Required profile68 years of procurement experience, preferably in pharmaceutical finished formulation manufacturing.Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, certifications, and quality requirements.Excellent negotiation, coordination, and communication abilities.Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and external suppliers.Required skillsProficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft AX knowledge is a plus. .
