Product Design Engineer (Gurugram)

Role & responsibilities Design components and assemblies with PTC CREO solid modeling software, creating necessary procedures and instructions, and all other documentation as required. Type of design work is easy to moderate complexity. Develop and document engineering specifications and material requirements as required. Process ECNs. Follow established document control procedures. Ability to analyze and resolve simple to moderate technical issues and problems using best practice tools and methods across cross functional teams. (i.e. FEA, DFMEA, DOE, DFM/DFA, fault tree analysis, etc.) Communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization both orally and in written fashion. Coordinate engineering activity with Sloan partners and design sites. Participate in setting design standards across the organization Provide support to engineering peers on work assignments and creating correct work content with minimal errors. Support other team members on process and problem solving. Communicate to manager when you have extra bandwidth. Plan and specify effective component level experimentation to verify and validate engineering designs to product requirements. Create and evaluate prototypes. Capable of designing unique R&D; tests, and creating detailed engineering reports. Investigate new technologies to be applied to future products. Research, recommend, and implement cutting edge technologies and techniques related to product prototyping and manufacturing Preferred candidate profile .
