Company Description Ekatraa Assistance Private Limited (Ekatraa) is Indias first AI-powered, technology-driven platform focused on simplifying event planning and connecting users with trusted vendors. The company operates as an AI-enabled intermediary, helping users plan events and budgets, manage guest lists and payments, and access verified third-party service providers via its mobile application and website. Ekatraa does not organize or manage events directly and does not act as a service provider, contractor, or seller of goods.

Role Description The Product Designer UI/UX will work full time on-site in Bhubaneswar, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and business teams to design intuitive experiences for Ekatraas web and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities include translating product requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces, and ensuring designs are consistent with brand and design systems. The role involves conducting user research and usability testing, synthesizing insights, and iterating designs based on feedback and data.
The Product
Designer will create prototypes, work with developers to ensure accurate implementation, and contribute to improving the overall user journey for event planners and vendors. This role also includes documenting design decisions and advocating for user-centered design across the organization.
Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Product Design skills, including end-to-end ownership of digital product experiences and design system thinking.
Candidates should possess Visual Design skills, covering layout, typography, color, and interaction design for web and mobile interfaces.
Candidates should possess Design Thinking skills, including problem framing, ideation, prototyping, and iterative refinement.
Candidates should possess User Research and UX Research skills, such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and insight synthesis.
Experience with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and prototyping tools.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate design rationale clearly, and incorporate feedback effectively.
Prior experience designing consumer-facing digital products or marketplaces is highly beneficial.
Bachelors degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work, problem-solving skills, and measurable impact on product outcomes. .
