01Responsibilities
Define the long-term vision and strategy for the organizations data and AI product portfolio: Set the direction for innovation, growth, and transformation through data-driven and AI-powered solutions.
Provide technical and strategic guidance, mentorship, and career development for other product owners.
Identify and explore cutting-edge research areas and technologies: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data, ML, and AI, and evaluate their potential for the organization.
Drive innovation and the development of novel data and AI products: Lead efforts, prototype new approaches, and oversee implementation of advanced data and AI solutions.
Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic decision-making: Align product initiatives with business objectives and organizational priorities.
Establish and enforce product standards and best practices: Ensure quality, user-centricity, and business impact of data and AI products across the organization.
Develops a Product portfolio roadmap with defined milestones along with value derivable.
Develops a structured Business/Products Requirements Document (B/P RD) with clear feature level requirements.
Represent the organization in external product and data communities: Speak at conferences, publish thought leadership, and build partnerships with academia and industry.
Defines the sprint plan in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) based on the priority outlined within the overall product vision and roadmap to present in Product Increment (PI) Planning sessions.
Supports data science technology strategy by forming a backlog of features and user stories for use by the delivery team.
Articulates requirements for each user story with detailed acceptance criteria.
Technical Skills
12+ years of experience in Product management or Product Owner role
Mastery of product management and agile methodologies: Lead vision, strategy, and execution for complex data and AI product portfolios.
Deep expertise in data, ML, and AI products: Advanced understanding of data pipelines, ML model deployment, and AI feature integration at scale.
Significant experience in designing and launching high-impact data and AI products: Proven track record of delivering business value through data-driven and AI-powered solutions.
Strong leadership and team management skills: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing product teams.
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities: Translate business challenges into innovative, scalable product solutions.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills: Advocate for product initiatives, influence executive decisions, and represent the organization externally through conferences, publications, and industry engagement
Must Have Skills:
Product strategy & roadmap leadership (data/AI domain)
Experience with ML/AI products, pipelines, and deployment at scale with a proven track record of delivering business value through data-driven and AI powered solutions.
Agile product management & cross-functional team leadership
Strong stakeholder communication and executive alignment skill.
Experience with GitHub, ADO, GCP. .
