Overview
As a Product Owner at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of product enhancements for CTB initiatives VS/SVS. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the senior Product Owner to prioritize the backlog, ensuring it aligns with the current roadmap priorities.
- Aligning with AIS IT POD, AIS Senior Product Owner, and Senior Product Manager, acting as a backup when necessary.
- Ensuring that user stories are well-defined, testable, and ready for development, actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Reviewing completed work to ensure quality and meet acceptance criteria, actively participating in commercialization activities with the wider product team.
- Gathering feedback and iterating based on demos, testing, and input from internal stakeholders.
To excel in this role, you should have experience in a fast-paced product development environment within the financial industry, preferably with exposure to large-scale product development projects. Additionally, experience in payments, cash management, or transaction banking would be advantageous. Familiarity with HSBC technology infrastructure, including core banking applications, APIs, and digital channels, is a plus.
Your proficiency in English writing, project management, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio will be essential for achieving desired outcomes in a timely manner. An understanding of technology terminology and agile technology methodology will further support your success in this role.
