01Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategic objectives.- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritised based on business value and customer needs.- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.- Write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.- Collaborate with business stakeholders, customers, UX/UI designers, architects, and engineering teams to translate requirements into deliverable features.- Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.- Prioritise features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, business goals, and technical feasibility.- Make informed trade-off decisions to maximise product value.- Validate delivered features through user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure they meet business expectations.- Monitor product performance using KPIs and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.- Coordinate product releases and communicate updates to stakeholders.- Manage dependencies, risks, and changes throughout the product lifecycle.Required Skills & Qualifications:- 6+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager.- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and product development methodologies.- Proven experience managing product backlogs and delivering customer-centric solutions.- Expertise in creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritising product features.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams.- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery practices.- Experience analysing product metrics and using data to drive product decisions.Preferred Qualifications:- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or equivalent certification.- Experience in digital product development or enterprise application delivery.- Exposure to cloud platforms, APIs, and microservices architecture is an advantage.- Knowledge of UX principles and customer journey mapping.- Experience in domains such as Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, or SaaS products is preferred.Technical Environment:- Jira- Confluence- Azure DevOps- SQL (basic understanding for data analysis)- Microsoft Office Suite- Power BI or Tableau (preferred)- Miro/Mural- API tools such as Postman (preferred)Soft Skills:- Strong customer-first mindset- Excellent communication and stakeholder management- Strategic thinking and business acumen- Analytical and data-driven decision-making- Collaboration and leadership- Negotiation and prioritisation skills- Problem-solving and critical thinking- Adaptability and continuous learningEducation:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.- Product Owner or Agile certifications are highly preferred.What We Offer:- Opportunity to work on innovative, customer-centric digital products.- Collaborative and Agile work environment.- Learning, certification, and career development opportunities.- Exposure to enterprise-scale product initiatives.- Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
