Product Team Lead

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Product Lead LAP to manage and drive the LAP product at a Pan India level. The role will be responsible for product strategy, policy, business performance, process improvement, technology initiatives, and cross-functional coordination to drive sustainable business growth. Key Responsibilitie sManage and drive the LAP product strategy at the Pan India level.Formulate, review, and implement product policies, credit programs, and process guidelines in line with business objectives and regulatory requirements.Work closely with Business, Credit, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Finance teams for smooth product execution.Monitor business performance, productivity, login, approval, disbursement, rejection, and portfolio trends.Identify business gaps and implement initiatives to improve business growth, productivity, TAT, and overall customer experience.Design and implement sales incentive structures, contests, and productivity initiatives.Develop and support marketing collaterals, product communication, and sales enablement material.Drive process improvement, digitisation, automation, and technology initiatives to improve operational efficiency.Manage and coordinate NHB/RBI audit-related activities and ensure timely closure of observations.Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and improve product offerings.Review product performance and recommend changes in pricing, product features, eligibility criteria, policies, and processes.Analyse portfolio quality, rejection trends, early delinquencies, and business risks in coordination with Credit and Risk teams.Prepare and present MIS, dashboards, business reviews, and product performance reports to senior management.Lead and manage the MIS/Product team and ensure timely and accurate reporting.Travel across India to understand market requirements, support business teams, and drive product initiatives.Conduct regular reviews with regional and branch teams to understand challenges and ensure effective implementation of product policies.Ensure effective rollout and communication of all product and policy changes across the organisation . Key Competenci esStrong knowledge of the LAP / Mortgage / Housing Finance business.Experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Policy, or Business Analytics.Strong understanding of LAP credit programs, processes, and market practices.Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across Business, Credit, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Compliance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to drive initiatives independently at a Pan India level.Strong understanding of MIS, business analytics, and productivity monitorin g. Experience & Qualificat ion10+ years of overall experience in the NBFC, Housing Finance, or Banking sector.Strong experience in LAP / Mortgage / Housing Finance products.Prior experience in Product Management / Product Strategy / Policy / Business Analytics.Experience in managing Pan India products and cross-functional stakeholders.MBA / PGDM in Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline preferr ed.
