Production Manager

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification: Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the manufacturing of safety equipment or similar industries.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and production workflows. Knowledge of safety standards related to manufacturing and product testing is a plus.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with production management software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, ERP). 1. Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes:
Experience in Safety Product Manufacturing: A strong understanding of manufacturing processes specific to safety equipment (helmets, gloves, safety shoes) is crucial. Familiarity with production techniques like injection molding, stitching, and assembly processes is beneficial.
Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies (like 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste. 2. Leadership and Management Skills:
Conflict Resolution: Ability to handle disputes and resolve conflicts effectively within the team, ensuring smooth and efficient production operations.
Employee Development: Experience in identifying training needs and promoting skill development to build a highly efficient and knowledgeable workforce.
Cross-Department Coordination: Ability to collaborate with other departments (such as R&D;, Quality Control, and Supply Chain) to ensure seamless operations and product flow. 3. Technical Proficiency:
Machinery and Equipment Management: Proficiency in managing and maintaining production machinery and understanding the technicalities involved in machine breakdowns, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
