Project Management Lead

As an offshore Scrum Master for a US Insurance Client, your role will be crucial in managing a critical project by developing and driving the product vision and strategy. Your responsibilities will include: - Coaching team members and driving change to remove impediments from the delivery team - Hosting Daily Stand-up Meetings, Sprint Planning Meetings, Retrospectives, and Reviews - Assisting the Product Owner with the Product Backlog - Protecting the Team from outside interference and removing obstacles - Teaching and upholding Scrum practices and principles You should be a proven expert in using Agile/Scrum/Lean software development methodologies and excel in managing team, client, and business stakeholder relationships. Your process skills should encompass activity and resource planning, organizing and motivating a project team, controlling time management, implementing continuous process improvement, leading innovations, and managing risk effectively. You will be responsible for managing relationships with multiple stakeholder groups, including senior leaders, and demonstrating strategic thinking and innovative leadership. In terms of behavioral skills, you will be expected to: - Run the software delivery for your Squad, ensuring smooth and efficient processes - Identify and eliminate blockers to ensure your Squad is motivated, collaborative, efficient, and empowered - Deliver working software for one or more products or solutions into production - Foster collaboration, break down silos, and remove blockers with an Enterprise mind-set - Be a recognized Agile Expert familiar with successful delivery processes and practices - Create highly performing teams and take a hands-on approach where required - Have a solid understanding of Software Development, Architecture, Test Engineering, and Security best practices in an Agile environment Your experience and education should include a Bachelor's degree, Masters, or industry certifications, along with a Project Management qualification (PMP) or equivalent. You should have theoretical and practical project management knowledge, experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management, as well as proficiency in project management techniques and software tools.
