Project Management Officer (Maternity Cover)

As a Project Manager in the Oil & Gas industry, your role will involve developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets. You will define project scope, goals, and deliverables in coordination with interested parties. Your key responsibilities will include: - Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure project execution. - Monitoring project progress and proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies. - Communicating effectively with stakeholders, team members, and senior management. - Ensuring all project documentation, reports, and status updates are maintained. - Leading project meetings, tracking action items, and driving decision-making. - Fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring team alignment with project goals. - Conducting project evaluations and preparing reports on performance and lessons learned. - Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry best practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience of 3+ years as a Project Manager in the Oil & Gas industry. - Preferably an engineering graduate with experience in project management, project planning, scheduling, and tracking of large software projects. - Knowledge in Microsoft Project is a must and should possess excellent interpersonal skills. - Proven experience in working with offshoring and/or foreign resources, and PMP certification are added advantages. - Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). - Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.). - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
