Overview
As an experienced professional in the insurance sector with expertise in insurance, IFRS, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Project Management, Stakeholder Management, and Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end insurance projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing end-to-end insurance projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Establishing and monitoring governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and IFRS standards.
- Identifying, assessing, and proactively mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engaging with key stakeholders to gather requirements, align expectations, and provide consistent project updates.
- Driving and supporting digital transformation initiatives within the insurance domain to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams including technology, finance, compliance, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Tracking project milestones, KPIs, and deliverables, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Preparing and presenting detailed project reports, risk assessments, and governance updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to internal controls, audit standards, and enterprise risk management practices.
Your skills should include proven experience in managing projects within the insurance sector, strong understanding of IFRS standards and their impact on insurance operations and reporting, hands-on experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects in an agile and regulated environment, familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in insurance (preferred), strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, and experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
