Job Title: HVAC Technical Documentation & Project Support Engineer
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Documentation & Project Support Engineer to support our engineering, manufacturing and project teams.
The successful candidate will assist with preparing technical documentation, bills of materials, project costing and procurement while working closely with the engineering department.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain product User Manuals, Installation Manuals, Service Manuals and Technical Documentation.
- Compile Bills of Materials (BOM) and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from engineering drawings and project requirements.
- Source pricing from suppliers and update project costing schedules.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers.
- Place purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain supplier pricing databases and material records.
- Assist with preparing technical submissions, specifications and project documentation.
- Support the engineering team with product data, drawings and technical reports.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing and project teams to ensure accurate documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in HVAC, refrigeration or MEP engineering.
- Experience preparing technical manuals, BOMs, BOQs and procurement documentation.
- Good understanding of commercial air conditioning, chilled water systems, precision cooling or refrigeration equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PDF documentation.
- Strong organisational, communication and supplier coordination skills.
- Experience with ERP systems or procurement software will be an advantage.
Note- Candidates with previous experience in HVAC manufacturing, technical documentation or project engineering will be given preference.
