01Overview
Process Design: Perform core process calculations (heat & mass balance, hydraulics, and equipment sizing) specifically for chemical vaporizers and chlorination units.
Bid Management: Review inquiry documents (RFQ/ITB), prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, and ensure compliance with client specifications.
System Configuration: Select appropriate instruments, valves, and piping components based on chemical compatibility and process requirements.
Costing: Develop accurate cost estimates, including BOM (Bill of Materials), fabrication man-hours, and bought-out components.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive quotes for specialized equipment.
Client Interaction: Participate in technical clarification meetings and provide support during the pre-award phase. What Were Looking For
Proven Expertise: Deep understanding of Chlorination packages and Chemical Vaporizers (including thermal design and phasechange calculations).
Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (for sizing tools); experience with AutoCAD is a significant plus.
Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with international standards and process engineering.
Communication: Ability to explain complex technical designs clearly to stakeholders and clients.
