Role Summary We are looking for a technically capable Project cum Purchase Support Engineer to support our project execution team while managing procurement of materials, components, and services required for ongoing automation projects. This is a dual-role position combining hands-on project coordination with purchase and vendor management responsibilities ideal for a fresher or early-career engineer who wants exposure to both technical execution and procurement functions. Key Responsibilities Project Support Assist the project team in planning, scheduling, and tracking automation project activitiesCoordinate with site/execution teams to understand material and technical requirementsPrepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and material requirement listsFollow up on project timelines to ensure materials and resources are available as per scheduleSupport technical teams during project execution, testing, and commissioning phasesPurchase Support Source, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors/suppliers for automation components, electrical panels, and project materialsPrepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and negotiate pricing and delivery timelinesTrack deliveries and follow up with vendors to prevent project delaysVerify incoming materials against purchase orders and technical specificationsMaintain vendor database, purchase records, and related compliance documentation (GST/invoices)Required Skills Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation EngineeringBasic understanding of automation components, panels, and industrial materials preferredGood coordination, negotiation, and vendor management skillsProficiency in MS Excel and purchase/ERP toolsAbility to read technical drawings/specifications is an advantageStrong communication skills and willingness to travel to sites when requiredPreferred Prior internship/experience in project coordination, procurement, or engineering support rolesFamiliarity with vendor networks in KeralaWhat We Offer Hands-on exposure to both project execution and technical procurementOpportunity to work directly with project and management teams on live automation projectsStrong learning curve for early-career engineersTo Apply: Send your resume to siebenerautomation@gmail.com Compensation: 15,000.00 - 35,000.00 per month Benefits: Flexible scheduleHealth insuranceLeave encashmentLife insuranceProvident FundWork Location: In person .
