Purchase Executive Chemical Industry

Experience: 2  to 5 Years
Department: Purchase / Procurement

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials, chemicals, solvents, packaging and consumables.
• Identify and develop new vendors.
• Obtain quotations, prepare comparisons and negotiate prices.
• Release Purchase Orders and maintain procurement records.
• Follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, QA/QC and Accounts.
• Monitor stock requirements and avoid material shortages.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase reports and ERP entries.

Requirements

• Graduate/Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience in Chemical/Manufacturing industry preferred.
• Good negotiation, communication and vendor-management skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP preferred.
