*Responsibilities*
1. *Procurement* Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business and production plans.
Forecast material requirements in coordination with Production, Planning, and Stores departments.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, consumables, spares, and services.
2. *Supplier* *Identification* , *Development* & *Evaluation*
Identify, evaluate, approve, and onboard new suppliers for raw materials, components, capital goods, and services.
Develop alternate and backup suppliers for critical manufacturing items to minimize supply risk.
Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, cost, and service.
3. *Negotiation* & *Contract* *Management*
Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve best pricing, payment terms, lead times, and quality standards.
Finalize contracts, rate agreements, and long-term supply arrangements.
Ensure all purchase commitments are within approved budgets and authority limits.
4. *Purchase Order* Management
Review and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders as per delegation of authority.
Ensure purchase orders are accurate with respect to specifications, quantities, rates, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Monitor order execution and ensure timely delivery as per production requirements.
5. *Inventory & Cost* *Control*
Oversee inventory levels in coordination with Stores and Production to avoid shortages, overstocking, and obsolescence.
Implement inventory optimization techniques and control slow-moving and non-moving items.
Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, supplier development, and process improvements.
6. *Quality Assurance* in Procurement
Ensure all procured materials comply with defined quality standards and technical specifications.
Coordinate with Quality department for incoming inspections and supplier quality audits.
Address supplier quality issues and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
7. *Vendor Relationship* Management
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key suppliers.
Resolve supplier-related issues including delivery delays, quality concerns, and commercial disputes.
Conduct regular follow-ups and review meetings with vendors.
8. *Compliance* , *Systems & ISO* *Standards*
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, statutory requirements, and ISO standards.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and management reviews.
Continuously improve procurement processes, systems, and controls.
9. Reporting & MIS*
Prepare and present procurement MIS report
Compensation: 600,000.00 - 800,000.00 per year
