01Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Engagement
Engage with
inbound or pre-qualified leads
(e.g., mortgage protection, final expense inquiries)
Conduct virtual consultations via Zoom, phone, or digital platforms
Build rapport and uncover client financial protection needs
Financial Needs Analysis
Assess client risk exposure, income replacement needs, debt obligations, and legacy objectives
Recommend appropriate coverage strategies (term, permanent, mortgage protection, etc.)
Solution Design & Presentation
Utilize quoting and illustration tools to present customized solutions
Clearly communicate product structures, underwriting expectations, and pricing
Application & Policy Placement
Guide clients through
digital applications (often 10-minute workflows)
Coordinate underwriting requirements and follow-ups
Ensure successful policy issuance and placement
Relationship Management
Maintain ongoing client relationships for retention, referrals, and policy reviews
Deliver a high-touch, advisory experience aligned with our human + tech model
Technology & Platform Utilization
Agents operate within a fully integrated insurtech stack, including:
CRM & automation tools
for lead management and follow-up
Digital application systems
for rapid underwriting and issuance
Analytics and workflow tools
to optimize conversion and productivity
These systems are designed to
reduce administrative friction and increase agent throughput

Product & Carrier Access
Agents have access to
80+ insurance carriers across the U.S.
A mix of
proprietary digital products and traditional policies
Solutions including: Term life insurance, Final expense, Mortgage protection, Permanent (Whole/IUL), Infinite Banking / Debt elimination programs.
This
non-captive structure
enables agents to position best-fit solutions rather than single-carrier offerings.
Compensation Structure:
Commission-based income, renewals, bonuses, equity compensation, five-star incentive travel
Paid per issued and placed policy
Potential for:
High upfront commissions
Renewal income (specific products/carriers)
Performance-based contract increases
Compensation is directly tied to:
Production volume
Case size
Persistency
This model aligns with broader
independent insurance distribution economics

Work Structure & Expectations:
Fully remote; flexible scheduling
Typical full-time agents:
Conduct 1020 client appointments per week
Manage consistent lead flow and follow-up cadence
Agents are expected to:
Operate with a
self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset
Maintain disciplined pipeline management
Continuously refine sales and advisory skills
Training & Development:

Qualifications:
Required
Active Life & Health Insurance License (or willing to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfort with virtual sales environments
Preferred
