The Role
Were looking for a Python AI Engineer with hands-on experience in LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases and modern AI frameworks.
Youll help design, build and deploy intelligent AI-powered applications that solve real-world problems within a large healthcare ecosystem.
What Youll Own
AI Application Development
Design and develop AI-powered applications using Python
Build scalable backend services and REST APIs
Develop production-ready GenAI solutions
LLMs & Generative AI
Integrate models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini & open-source ecosystems
Develop prompt engineering strategies
Optimize LLM responses for accuracy, relevance and reliability
RAG & Semantic Search
Design and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines
Work with embeddings and semantic search
Improve retrieval quality and AI response performance
Vector Databases
Hands-on experience with:
Pinecone
Chroma
FAISS
Milvus
Weaviate
AI Frameworks
Experience with:
LangChain
LangGraph
Or similar LLM/AI frameworks
Evaluation & Optimization
Evaluate model and retrieval performance
Identify failure points in AI pipelines
Improve accuracy, relevance and reliability
Engineering Collaboration
Work closely with product, engineering and healthcare teams
Translate real-world requirements into production-ready AI systems
Follow Git, testing and software engineering best practices
Key Competencies Required
23 years of professional Python development experience
Strong understanding of LLMs & Generative AI
Hands-on experience building RAG architectures
Experience with vector databases
Knowledge of embeddings, semantic search & prompt engineering
Experience with FastAPI or Flask
Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL databases
Strong Git & software engineering practices
Good to Have
Docker & Kubernetes
AI model evaluation & observability
Agentic AI workflows
MCP (Model Context Protocol)
CI/CD pipelines
Qualification
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field, with a minimum CGPA of 7.5, and 23 years of professional experience in Agentic AI development.
This is more than a Python development role.
