01Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong exposure to Capital Markets Risk Analytics. The ideal candidate should possess excellent Python programming skills and have experience working on risk reporting and analytics platforms within investment banking environments.
Primary Skill: Python
Secondary Skill: Quartz
Tertiary Skill: C++
Required Skills:
* Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
* Experience developing scalable applications, APIs, and data processing solutions using Python.
* Good understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
* Experience working with SQL and handling large datasets.
* Exposure to version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies.
* Experience with the Quartz scheduling framework is preferred.
* Knowledge of C++ is an added advantage.
Domain Expertise:
* Good understanding of FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities) or Equities products.
* Knowledge of pricing models, market risk concepts, and P&L; workflows.
* Experience with risk reporting platforms such as VaR (Value at Risk) and CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review).
* Ability to work closely with Front Office, Risk, and Analytics teams.
* Experience working in a regulatory and investment banking workplace.
02Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications for risk analytics and reporting.
* Build efficient data pipelines and automation solutions.
* Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, and Quant teams to deliver business requirements.
* Optimize application performance and ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
* Participate in production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.
* Follow DevOps and CI/CD best practices for deployment and release management. .
