DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Python Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation, and development, with the ability to design and implement robust test solutions.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop automated test scripts using Python.Develop and maintain test frameworks and tools.Collaborate with software developers to understand features and create test cases.Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects.Participate in code reviews and contribute to test design discussions.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.Skills and Qualifications6-15 years of experience in software testing and development.Strong proficiency in Python programming language.Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Pytest, or similar.Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. .
