The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Selenium and Java , along with experience in designing automation frameworks, executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java. Execute manual and automated test cases for web applications. Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed test plans and test cases. Identify, report, track, and verify software defects. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to resolve issues. Perform regression, functional, integration, smoke, and sanity testing. Improve automation coverage and optimize existing test frameworks. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA review meetings. Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics. Ensure software quality throughout the SDLC. Required Skills Selenium WebDriver Core Java Test Automation Manual Testing Functional Testing Regression Testing API Testing TestNG or JUnit Maven or Gradle Git/GitHub SQL Basics Agile/Scrum Methodology Defect Tracking Tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins is an added advantage. Knowledge of REST API testing using Postman or Rest Assured. Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus. ISTQB Certification is preferred but not mandatory. Preferred Candidate Profile Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
