01Key Responsibilities
Define and implement the overall QA strategy, processes, standards, and best practices. Lead and mentor QA teams, including test leads, senior QA engineers, and automation engineers. Establish quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to monitor product quality and testing effectiveness. Drive test planning, test execution, defect management, and release quality assessments. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business, and Project Management teams to ensure quality objectives are met. Oversee automation testing initiatives and promote continuous testing practices. Ensure test coverage across functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing areas. Manage resource planning, workload allocation, and team performance evaluations. Conduct quality reviews, audits, and process compliance assessments. Identify quality risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies Support Agile/Scrum delivery models and participate in release governance activities. Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and quality engineering practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 1015+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 35 years in a QA leadership or management role. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies. Experience managing distributed and cross-functional QA teams. Expertise in test management, defect management, and quality governance. Hands-on knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Technical Skills:
Test Management Tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, ALM, or equivalent. Automation Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, UFT, or equivalent. API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI. CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps Pipelines. Performance Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools. SQL and database testing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Compliance, Regulatory, Governance, Risk Management, Audit, Financial Compliance, Healthcare Compliance, or related domains. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and controls management processes. Experience supporting audit readiness, compliance validation, and quality control reviews. ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are desirable.
