01Key Responsibilities
Test Planning and Design:
Analyze requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Design and document detailed test scenarios, test scripts, and test data.
Test Execution:
Execute manual test cases and report defects, issues, and improvements.
Perform various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Defect Management:
Log and track defects in a defect management tool.
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Documentation and Reporting:
Document test results and create detailed test reports.
Provide regular updates on test progress, issues, and risks to the QA Lead/Manager.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in team meetings to discuss testing strategies and improvements.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and tools for manual testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
1+ years of experience in manual testing.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Familiarity with different software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly.
Positive understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and software development life cycle (SDLC).
